These days, it’s never been easier to set up a business online – and it’s getting easier by the day.
You can create a decent-looking webpage or an entire site in a matter of hours, and you can sign up for all-in-one platforms that will do everything from gathering email addresses to collecting orders to processing payments.
But here's the catch....
You have a fantastic product, but you're struggling to get it noticed.
You lack the visibility and authority that could bring potential customers flocking to your business.
It's like having a treasure chest, but no map to lead people to it.
I've been in your shoes, and I know how frustrating it can be.
Over the years, I've launched numerous successful online businesses, and through trial and error....
I've discovered the key to branding and positioning that gets results.
It's about more than just a catchy name or a sleek logo; it's about crafting a message that resonates with your audience's needs and desires.
So here’s the key…
Your Unique Brand needs to tell your audience how you can positively impact their lives – well before you ask for the sale.
In fact, branding (done right) is the BEST form of marketing. And this branding forms the core of your marketing.
As you develop your unique positioning, you develop authority, trust, and likability with your target customers, which naturally primes them to buy from you – and only you.
One of my students, Kristy Ting did it like this…
She leverages on her past struggles as a pharmacist and shares her story that resonated with burnt-out professionals.
Unlike other generic "side hustle" courses, Kristy understood the specific challenges her target Customers faced – the long hours, the financial pressure, and the yearning for more control.
She positioned herself as the someone who had walked the talk and used funnel-building to escape the pharmacy grind and build a fulfilling, profitable freelancing business.
Then, by the time she tells her new students that she has a full 5-month course...
And this process works regardless of your product or your market. I’ve had students use this process to launch products and online businesses in countless markets, from dog training to burnout recover to
music lessons to trademark law.
It works even if you are selling a physical product or a service.
Take Rosy Lim, for example (she is another MomBoss Academy student). Here’s how she sold home-grade face ampoule online…
She shows up as herself, no fancy makeup or big production needed. In fact, I think she doesn't even use makeup. Rosy shares about her mom-life and the journey of her own skin transformation online.
You might be thinking...
'But I'm not a marketing expert! How can I create a brand that stands out?'
The good news is, you don't have to be.
With the right strategies and insights, anyone can build an effective brand.
And that's exactly what I'm here to help you with.
But remember, creating a brand is just the first step.
Once you've established your brand, how do you transform this into a successful business?
Stay tuned for my next video where I'll reveal the secrets to turning your business into a trusted brand for your customers.
Today's mini-action:

Your Unique Brand needs to tell your audience how you can positively impact their lives – well before

In fact, branding (done right) is the BEST form of marketing. And this branding forms the core of
your marketing.
Now, imagine this...
You, an In-Demand Entrepreneur, is no longer feeling overwhelmed by the daunting task of winning over potential customers. You no longer feel the need to offer discounts and throw more things at your customers to "sweeten" the deal.
Instead, you're confidently presenting your products, gaining trust, and attracting enthusiastic prospects who are eager to buy from you.
That's the transformation we're talking about today.
But we all know the reality:
As you develop your unique positioning, you develop authority, trust, and likability with your target customers, which naturally primes them to buy from you – and only you.

The real solution lies in building trust with your audience. When customers trust your brand, they believe in "how" your products are going to help them achieve their goals and they're willing to pay for it.
It starts with a consistent brand message, showing up for your audience, and delivering on your promises. It's about demonstrating your expertise and showing your audience that you understand their needs.
Consider one of our of MomBoss Academy courses, Fashion Startup. Together with renowned fashion designed, Anseina, we showed our prospective students how they could learn fashion design in just a couple of months – verses the 1-5 years that most people in the industry consider standard.
Anseina used herself as our first case study and showed complete transparency of how she got her fashion business started.
And, here’s the key… we documented the entire thing.
We refined what Anseina had learned and put it into a course framework (we still haven't created the course at this point).
And when we were putting together our launch, we showed Anseina’s personal progress and taught some of the key things that she had learned along the way. By the time we opened up our cart and started accepting enrolments, we'd built up enough excitement in our audience that we ended up selling $18,000 - for a course that haven't been created.
Another of my students, Emily Seck, does this regularly when she launches her calendar.
Several months before each of her yearly launch, she sends out surveys to her email list asking her subscribers what artwork they would like to see in the calendar... and then she keeps them updated with what the new calendar will look like.
Not only does this give her a wealth of great ideas to use in creating the product… but it gives her audience a sense of involvement and building trust for the the upcoming launch. By the time she starts taking orders, she isn’t trying to convince anyone to buy… she’s giving them the opportunity to finally purchase what they’ve been anticipating for months.
